Blue Mesa’s Tequila Bar has received the regional Santé Restaurant Award for Spirits Hospitality. Over 100 tequilas. And an emphasis on tequila mixology, the art of making great tequila cocktails like our Cucumber Jalapeno or Meyer Lemon Mint Margaritas. And a commitment to using fresh squeezed juices in our cocktails. Each month we feature a tequila distillery – from the well known to the boutique. The tequila is featured in our Top Shelf Margarita made with reposado tequila, organic agave nectar and fresh squeezed lime juice (and nothing else!). Each month we also feature a fresh fruit margarita reflecting our commitment to only using fresh fruit in our bar. For the past few years we have sourced our fresh fruit from local Texas farms whenever possible – from Ruby Red grapefruits, to Meyer lemons, watermelon and plums. Our Tequila Tuesday Party celebrates the featured distillery – offering free tastes and discounted fresh fruit margaritas. Monthly tequila dinners and events, and Tequila Labs support our Tequila Bar program. Of course, our Original Blue Frozen Margarita is always available and adds to our great Happy Hour.
