Ballroom offers a wide array of classes, events, and dances on a weekly and monthly basis. From the blazing sensuality of Salsa to the light-hearted and bouncy Lindy Hop, the fun and funk of West and East Coast Swing to the smooth and controlled passion of Tango, Century Ballroom has it all ,We teach several styles of partner dancing (also known as social dancing or ballroom dancing), including Bachata, East Coast Swing, Kizomba, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Waltz, and West Coast Swing, as well as Tap. We offer ongoing 5-week class series, along with occasional 4-week mini sessions and weekend workshops. Most classes meet one time per week for one hour. The class schedule is posted as it becomes available, usually 3-4 weeks before the session starts. See Class ScheduleNo partner required (except for our special 'couples' classes, when offered). However, to keep our classes balanced we sometimes have to limit registration for people without a partner. If that is the case, please call/e-mail us to be on the wait list, and we will contact you as space becomes available. All classes are held at Century Ballroom, West Hall, or East Hall (all at 915 E Pine St), unless otherwise noted. In order to better balance classes, we encourage you to register early to ensure there is space available for you. Those who register at the door will be admitted to class as space allows. You are only guaranteed a spot in class if you have pre-registered and prepaid. If you have not prepaid and you do not show up to the first class, we will give your spot away. If you register and then change your mind, please let us know so we can keep the class balanced.Drop-ins to our series classes are allowed if you have already taken the class and the class is out of balance in your favor. $15 / 1 hr class and $20 / 1.5 hr class ,We offer online review videos to students in most of our beginning sessions. For the classes without a review video, we encourage you to film the recap at the end of each class hour. Review Video Page We do not prorate for missed classes, and it's helpful to your fellow students for you to be there every week, so do your best to make every class! We do always review the previous week's material, though, so if you have to miss a week, you will be able to catch up.
