Our school sits on the property of the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark. This historical fort encompasses most of the former Army post and includes twenty-three original and restored structures. The school library is housed in the restored structure that was originally the post hospital. With this prime location of the school, students are not only within walking distance of the fort but also the Art Museum, River Stage, Concho River, Farmer's Market, and Celebration Bridge. The present facility was built in 1987 and includes two main buildings with 17 classrooms, an office area, cafeteria, and computer lab. Other buildings include a gymnasium and music room plus three portable buildings housing our Art and Research Labs, and our 5th grade classrooms.
