The Sangamon County Farm Bureau is a not for profit organization who focuses on three primary areas:
• Service to members
• Government and politics
• Education and information
The organization has a Board of 19 Directors and six regular committees. It is their duty to identify member concerns and industry issues then implement a plan of action, program and/or activity to effectively address those needs.
The Sangamon County Farm Bureau also works collectively with the membership, surrounding community and county, state and national leaders to improve industry relations and monitor progress on issues important to the organization.
Through offering programs, events and educational opportunities, we hope to improve the well-being of farmers while also telling their story to the public and encouraging appreciation for the industry that provides so much.
