Sunshine Symphony was born when female vocalist, keyboardist and founder Christine Bainbridge and fellow lead vocalist Ricky Bell left popular Lehigh Valley cover band She Said Sunday.
Christine, a bright creative force in her former band, wanted a name for her new project that reflected her generally cheerful outlook on life. Ricky, who plays guitar, drums, bass, keyboards and sings, is essentially a human symphony. Together, they're Sunshine Symphony.
In the search for our new line-up, we chose members with considerable performance experience, that we know can provide that on-stage chemistry essential to an electrifying performance.
In 2014, Sunshine Symphony was voted one of the Top Cover Bands in Philadelphia by CBS 3 Philly, and was also nominated for the Discover New Artist Award by the Lehigh Valley Music Awards (LVMA) Association.
In 2017, Christine was recognized by the LVMA board with Special Honors for 20 years of Performing.
