The original Sazerac cocktail, as first created by Thomas Handy, now lives on 527 Broome Street at The Handy Liquor Bar.

The Handy Liquor Bar opens daily at 5:00pm, Jukebox Selections 5:00pm to 7:00pm daily, with #ProhibitionHour Jazz performances along with DJ’s spinning old school vinyl disco, funk and rock & roll .

The Handy Liquor Bar serves small bites – such as classic oysters rockerfella (with a hint of madras curry) and warm black truffle and gruyere tea sandwich (served with pommel frites) – from the Chalk Point Kitchen menu, created by Michelin Star and Rising Chef Award recipient, executive chef Joe Isidori, along with Chef de Cuisine, Blue Hill and Mas Farmhouse vet, chef Frederick Schoen-Kiewert.
