The TARA Approach is available to communities in need under the auspices of the Dom Project, the 501.c.3 non-profit umbrella for all TARA Approach programs and publications.
The Dom Project is named for Domingo Orejudos, the first person to die of AIDS in Boulder County, Colorado. His death inspired Dr. Mines and her husband, environmental attorney Robert E. Yuhnke, to share the resources they used for Dom with the world.
The Dom Project and The TARA Approach provide training, materials and resources to health care professionals, service agencies, therapists, family birthing units, midwives, childbirth educators, and parents.
