Our mission as a business is to 'nourish resilience' within the community of our customers, staff and food suppliers. We aim to provide a business model which can inclusively support and benefit people, animals and the environment as one. We source all of our produce, meats and products from as local and high quality organic sources as possible.
The majority of our foods are sold in returnable glass mason jars, in order to keep our environmental impact as low as possible.
We create dishes for many alternative and healing diets including - GAPS, paleo, SCD, auto-immune, gluten free, etc.
All of our grains/nuts/beans/legumes/pulses are traditionally processed through the techniques of soaking, fermenting or nixtamalizing which allow for easy digestion.
The foundation of our food lies in the historic discoveries of anthropologist, dentist and nutritionist - Weston. A Price, whom studied isolated traditional communities around the globe. Learning of the nutrient-dense foods underpinning these cultures superior health in comparison to those eating modern processed diets.
Our foods tie into his discoveries through our use of traditional ingredients and processing methods/fermentation techniques. Keeping alive the cultural wisdom which has nourished humans throughout history.
