Our mission is to share the Gospel and its message of salvation in Jesus alone.
The Vineyard of Praise Ministries Program needs seed money and start-up funds in order to provide services for youth and their families in Inglewood, California and the greater Los Angeles County area. Over the next three years, we propose to serve over 400 youth and adults. Our goal is to address the immediate problems facing adults and youth development and care, first, and then address the underlying issues that affect their ability to maintain good family values.
The Vineyard of Praise Ministries Program provides assistance to deprived, low income; mistreated, antisocial, and alienated youths and adults by offering mentoring, support and reassurance through sponsoring diverse educational and professional programs. Our goal is to provide educational programs, professional training, advocacy, and supportive services that help uplift the entire community. Our goal is to support at-risk children, youth, and adults by offering one on one mentoring with upstanding community leaders and business professionals, tutoring, internships & apprenticeships, vocational training, and basic life functioning skills to children, teens and adults. Our goal is to create program initiatives that support “at-risk” children, youth, and adults by creating positive structures in their lives that will ultimately help promote civic responsibility in the future. We offer guidance and mentor the development of each participant’s mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being.
With encouraging lessons of good sportsmanship, personal accountability, and self-esteem, we believe that these are essential qualities for individuals to develop in order to live productive, self-sufficient, happy, and fulfilling lives. The individuals enrolled in our program will have the opportunity to study alongside experienced business professionals within their chosen field and gain hands on experience, professional internship opportunities, and access to business/ educational/ vocational seminars, and learn professional skills within the industry of their choice. Our program will help develop life management, social skills, and literacy for low-income, individuals that are underserved, handicapped, underprivileged, disenfranchised and disadvantaged.
The objectives of the project is to provide ongoing education and career objectives for all our at-risk individuals to assess needs and plan individualized services using youth, adults and family members input. Our task is to teach life skills, to ensure access to quality service and care, to teach effective social and interpersonal skills, to provide the opportunity for higher education, to provide assistance with job searching and training for the future, to provide computer training, and to offer supportive aftercare services.
