De Meló is the brainchild of husband and wife team Imran and Nadia Ayoub, who channeled their passion for creative desserts and launched their multi-award winning business in 2015.
Staying true to the Italian roots, the range is made with milk and contains less than 6% fat, allowing the flavours to really punch through.
After training with Albert Van Groedenbroeck, the Head of Operations at Aromitalia (owned by Cristiano Ferrero of the Ferrero Rocher family), De Meló devel- oped an authentic recipe that competes with some of the best that even Italy has to offer.
De Meló has already won several awards including the People’s Choice Award and has also been shortlisted for 3 national accolades including Best New Dessert Outlet. The business has even won recognition from Sir Richard Branson.
